Blaze Fire Academy is the female firefighting leadership program for high school students in Halton Region. Our goal is to provide a fire service introduction and basic working knowledge to females, aged 15 to 18 years, who may not have considered the possibility of pursuing a career in the fire service; because, it is traditionally thought of as a male-dominated field.
This program will also include information and experiences related to the following fire service fields: Fire Prevention and Public Education, Training, Fire investigation, Fire Code Enforcement, and Communications.

Presented to a female student who has achieved an overall grade of 80% in the CFAA Fire Alarm Technician Program in all CFAA’s five (5) prescribed Fire Alarm Technician’s courses.
